As part of the Wandsworth Heritage Festival, David Kirk will lead a short walk down East Hill to the High Street, discussing a variety of sites nearby of entertainment, 'recreation' of all sorts, some listed buildings, the Huguenot past and the changing character of the area. Walk around Ruislip Lido

Thursday August 8
Meet at Clapham Junction Station outside M&S Simply Food, SW11 1RU

Rose Harley will lead a Summer walk around the attractive Ruislip Woods and Lido, Northwood Hills. This is 6 miles long and almost all of the walk is in fine woodland, including Mad Bess Wood. There are some undulations. We travel to West Ruislip and return from Northwood Hills. Meet at Clapham Junction Station outside M&S Simply Food at 9.30am
