DESCRIPTION:From daily shopping basket to home delivery – how food shopping has evolved.\n\nAs our contribution to the Wandsworth Heritage Festival our speaker Caroline Pook will tell the story of how food shopping patterns have changed over the 75 year post war period and the impact these changes have had on the townscape of the borough of Wandsworth.\n\nOur speaker worked for a major supermarket for 40 years and has been\, like many of us\, a shopper in Wandsworth since the 1970s so has first-hand knowledge of the changes which have taken place.
