May Meeting – CANCELLED

There will be no meeting in May due to Coronavirus.

We hope very much to re-arrange the talk planned for our contribution to the now cancelled Wandsworth Arts Fringe. We were to welcome local art historian, artist and lecturer, Julia Jane Heckles MA, who was to talk about William Morris and The Arts and Crafts Movement. The movement set up their textile workshops at Merton Abbey Mills on the River Wandle and are an important part of local heritage. William Morris led the Arts and Crafts Movement which has had such a huge influence on the decorative arts.
