Putney Society Open Meeting on Trees

Wandsworth’s Arboricultural Manager, Liam Hutton and his team will be at the Putney Society Open Meeting in November to explain how street and park trees are selected and maintained. Some or all of the following questions will be addressed.
- How many street and park trees are there in Wandsworth?
- How many trees are planted each year?
- In the face of hotter summers and wet winters, which are the best species to plant?
- How can we help protect newly planted trees?
- Which trees are protected from felling?
- Will “Biodiversity Net Gain” planning requirements help protect trees from developers?
