Battersea Power Station – past, present and future

A presentation on Battersea Power Station. Yes, in the beginning there were only two chimneys, presently there are many more cranes than this (we’ve lost count), and please note the image of the future is more than a little conjectural … Battersea Power Station is currently being ‘transformed’ (for better or for worse – what do you think?).
Our speakers will be:
Jeanne Rathbone, Battersea resident, local historian and popular tour guide (a ‘hard hat’ tour was enthusiastically enjoyed by Society members in 2017), and
Alex Baker, Community and Sustainability Manager for the Battersea Power Station Development Company
