March Meeting – The Huguenots in Wandsworth

A speaker from the Huguenot Society will give a talk on who the Huguenots were, why they came, their persecution, emigration and assimilation. This will relate to those who lived in Wandsworth, the skills they brought and the way that Wandsworth’s heavily industrialised past is reflected in today’s town.
