On Thursday 6 February Jess Mead, project officer at the South East Rivers Trust, will be talking to the Wandsworth Common WI about the regeneration of the River Wandle , the issues the river faces and what we can do to help. From managing invasive species like Himalayan Balsam to bringing back trout and eels, the Trust has done a lot to turnaround a polluted industrial waterway and turn it into a thriving ecosystem. 7.30pm meeting in the Vestry Hall, Wiseton Road, SW17 7EE. £5.
