On 17 May about a dozen members walked from Bromley by Bow to North Greenwich (aka as The Dome) – via a short hop on the DLR and a flight on the Emirates Airline. The sculpture trail takes you roughly along the Greenwich Meridian line to view contemporary sculptures including an Anthony Gormley and Damien Hirst.

On 22nd December 2017, The Wandsworth Society has submitted an objection to Wandsworth Council regarding Planning Application No 2017/0580 (B&Q Swandon Way)
Addendum 1 – Detailed comment on the loss of trees.
We do so principally because we consider the proposed development is excessive and contrary to the current London and Local Plans:
• the buildings are too tall
• the density of development is too great
• local infrastructure will be overstretched
• the loss of trees is unjustified.
