The Thames Tideway  Project. Colin Murphy (Senior Engineer) and Hannah Shroot (Media Relations Lead) from Tideway will talk to us about the 25km Super Sewer cureently being built at a great depth alongside the Thames. This affects us with access points in our area (including King Georges Park) and the expected improvements to water quality in the Thames.

Wandsworth Society's Arts Fringe Meeting. MUSIC FOR MINDS This Society event, which is also part of the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival, will be led by the Music Director and Accompanist from Wigmore Hall’s “Singing with Friends” initiative for people living with dementia and their families. It was launched in 2017 in partnership with Resonate Arts. The participants come to the Wigmore Hall for weekly sessions to engage in choral singing and discover how much musical activity can enhance their lives.…

The Wandsworth Society are joining with the Putney Society to hold hustings for the European Parliament elections. The line up will be (in alphabetical order of party): Conservatives - Scott Pattenden, MEP candidate for London Greens - Gulnar Hasnain, MEP candidate for London Labour - Cllr Fleur Anderson, Wandsworth Councillor (Bedford ward) Lib Dems - Jonathan Fryer, MEP candidate for London UKIP - Freddy Vachha, MEP candidate for London 7.30pm  start; refreshments and mingling with candidates will follow the event.

Fulham Palace: Self Guided Visit

Following the June talk about Fulham Palace there will be a group outing to Fulham Palace for an informal, sociable, visit and afternoon tea. We have decided not to take a guided tour but to go and explore the restoration for ourselves. Meet in the tranquil All Saints Churchyard (close to the 220/270 bus stop) at 2pm. Entry to the Palace and garden is free. No booking required.
