Sambrook’s will take a 20-year lease with Greenland to establish a new headquarters for its brewing operations across 11,000 sq ft at Ram Quarter, relocating from its current brewhouse in Battersea. They will occupy the Grade II listed brewhouse with a tap room serving food and hand-crafted brews, as well as a bottle shop. The site was Youngs Brewery until 2006 and brewing has been taking place on the site since at least 1533. John Hatch, formerly of Young’s, who is currently running a small craft brewery at the rear of the site, hopes to be involved in the new operation.
